- This article aimed to report evaluation analyses on race walking judgement of loss of contact on major competitions in Japan. Research group of scientific research committee of JAAF has conducted video analysis for loss of contact with high-speed video camera (240fps) on six domestic major competitions of race walking events (20kmW, 35kmW, Full-MarathonW, Half-MarathonW). Averaged time of continuous four steps of loss of contact was calculated from the division of frame numbers of loss of contact by frame rates (240fps). On this article, authors presented averaged value and standard deviations of loss of contact time on category-groups of Judgement (NoYellow-NoRed, NoRed, Within2Red, Over3Red) for each event and competitions.
