- 本研究では、アスリートの主観的な知覚や認知の体験を対象として、心理的プレッシャー下での実力発揮の成否を分ける要因を明らかにすることを目的とした。この目的のために、全国レベル以上の大会への出場経験を有し、プレッシャー下で実力発揮をできた経験とできなかった経験の両方について語ることができる現役アスリート10名にインタビュー調査を行なった。インタビューの内容を分析し、実力発揮成功の過程と失敗の過程を比較することで、違いに関わる要因を抽出した。その結果、プレッシャー下で生じる症状自体に大きな違いはなく、症状をどのように認知し、対処するのかが実力発揮の成否に関わることが示された。
- 研究概要（英）
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that determine the success or failure of motor performance under psychological pressure from the viewpoint of the subjective experiences of athletes. Ten Japanese elite level athletes participated a semi-structured interview which designated to ask them to describe their experiences of performing under pressure. The taped and transcribed interviews were analyzed using the modified grounded theory approach to extract the factors that determine the motor performance under pressure. The analysis revealed that there are little differences in symptoms between the cases of success and failure under pressure and that the differences were in how they recognized and coped with the symptoms.
